This is the Sunflower Convoy. A humanitarian transport from Vienna to Lviv.
The Sunflower Convoy was initiated by the RCIT, but it is bigger and broader than just one organization.
It is an initiative to provide practical help to the Ukrainian people. It includes clothes for women and children, water, hygienic products, medicine and first aid kits. But the Sunflower Convoy is not just another NGO project.
It stands on the history of international solidarity. It is supported by migrants from Syria, from Chechnya, from Bosnia, from Somalia, from Egypt and from many more.
It has its political principles:
Support the true independence and freedom of Ukraine! Neither Putin, Nor NATO!
Dates and Facts on the Convoy
The Sunflower Convoy is soon ready for departure. For now, it contains of three transporters with Donations. However, with more donations and more drivers, the convoy might grow further.
The starting point for the Convoy will be the South of Vienna on Saturday morning, 2 April 2022.
The journey leads via Poland to Ukraine.

Supporters of the Convoy
The Convoy is initiated by the RCIT, it is practically supported by the following communities:
* Activists from the Chechen Community Vienna
* Syrian Activists from the Freedom for Syria Initiative
* Activists from the Egyptian Migrant Community
The RCIT organizes the Convoy in Close Collaboration with Social Movement (Ukraine).
The International Solidarity Campaign is also supported by Convergencia Socialista and Defensorías De Géneros.
